ABOUT STEF

Seattle Tennis and Education Foundation inspires under-resourced kids to be active in mind and body so they gain the confidence and skills to achieve their dreams.

The primary school and middle school years are a crucial time during which children acquire coordination, complex technical and social skills and the confidence to succeed. Studies show that youth who engage in sports and are supported by mentors gain many benefits, including alleviation of depression, better attendance in school and higher matriculation rates and grades, providing a solid foundation for their future well-being. STEF’s programming addresses these challenges and provides important solutions with unique after-school programs. STEF programming is provided free of charge.
